Welcome to Peapack & Gladstone

The Borough of Peapack and Gladstone, two villages incorporated in 1912 into a single municipality, is nestled in the beautiful hills of northern Somerset County and named the second best town to live in NJ.  It has seen moderate development over the years since then.  It is the original home of Peapack & Gladstone Bank, the oldest independent bank in Somerset County. It is currently home to long time business residents such as Komline Sanderson Corporation and the Matheny Medical and Educational Center.  With a population of slightly over 2,400, the Borough remains rural in character and is a desirable residential community in which to live.  It is within easy access to New York City by rail, bus and major highways.  Home to many interested in equestrian pursuits, it has the Essex Hunt Club and Fox Hounds within the Borough and the U.S. Equestrian Stables nearby at Hamilton Farms.
